We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Chef for our stunning 1AA rosette awarded Hotel & Spa set in 5 acres of landscaped grounds with private lake.

The PlaceThe new fully refurbished Crowne Plaza Marlow Hotel & Spa with 168 rooms, 1AA rosette restaurant, Aqua Bar Lounge & Conservatory with lake views, and Crowne Plaza conference centre.

Full Job Description As an Apprentice Chef you dont need to have tons of experience in a kitchen, though it can help. Well teach you everything you need All you need is a willingness to learn, a genuine love for all things food and the passion to create amazing modern British and authentic Indian dishes.

Responsibilities included in this role : Prepare, cook and present food to company specificationKeep kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all timesWork safely around kitchen equipment and monitor and deal with any maintenance issuesKeep up to date with new products, menus and promotionsAdhere to company policies and procedures and licensing lawsBe involved and contribute at all team meetingsWhat your apprenticeship includes : A mixture of face to face and virtual catch ups with your learning coach every 4 – 6 weeksA mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinarsFeedback sessions to discuss progressYou will be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification over the course of 15 months.

Youll take on a full-time role in the kitchen under the supervision of passionate highly experienced chefs alongside your training.

Not only do you gain a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship, you will be able to support the running of our kitchens, creating some amazing moments for our guests.

Wage will be : 16-20 years old – £8.50 per hour 21-22 years old – £10.00 per hour 23+ years old – £10.75 per hourInterviews and trials are being held immediatelyYou must be eligible to live and work in the UK unrestrictedCandidates with a stable employment background and positive references will be preferred.
